Tom Jones back to rock Bangkok on 5 April

Tom Jones, the legendary Welsh singer known as ‘The Voice’ is coming back to treat his fans in Bangkok live in concert on Tuesday, 5 April, 2016 at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani, supported by Live Nation BEC-Tero.

Jones’ powerful and unique voice is unmatched. He is one of a few artists whose career kicked off at the dawn of modern popular music. To this day, Tom Jones is still bringing joy to his fans around the world through his music. As an artist, he has traversed musical eras and embraced many musical styles. His live performances are unrivalled and his powerful voice appeals to people of all ages and gender.

Over his vast career, Tom Jones has sold more than 100 million records and given us countless global smash hits including ‘It's Not Unusual’, ‘Kiss’, ‘Delilah’, ‘What’s New Pussycat’, ‘I’ll Never Fall In Love Again’, ‘Green, Green Grass of Home’, ‘If I Only Knew’, ‘Mama Told Me’, ‘Burning Down The House’, ‘Sex Bomb’ and many more. His talent, however, does not lie only in music. He has had stints as an actor in TV series and films, produced TV programmes, and was a coach on the first four series of The Voice UK.

Tom was knighted by Her Majesty the Queen in 2006, an honour he deeply cherishes. He was able to celebrate this honour once again in 2012 when he performed at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee concert at Buckingham Palace. He has also received many other awards such as a BRIT Awards for Best Male and Outstanding Contribution to Music, a Silver Clef Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Hitmaker Award from the [US] Songwriters Hall of Fame, GQ Man of the Year, and the prestigious [UK] Music Industry Trust Award.

Jones’ 50-year career has remarkably gone from strength to strength.  Along with sustaining his popularity as a live performer and recording artist for five decades, he has garnered—at the age of 75—the best reviews of his career for his three most recent albums Long Lost Suitcase, Spirit In The Room and Praise & Blame (Island/Universal). Critics across the world are unanimous in their approval and admiration for both the recorded work and the performance of it in concert.
Tom’s previous performances in Thailand received an overwhelming response from fans. This year, Thai fans will get the chance to enjoy this legendary entertainer perform live once again on Tuesday 5 April at Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani. Ticket prices are Bt 2,500/3,500 and 4,500.
